I’m 173 cm’s tall, which isn’t considered short but I still occasionally find myself lugging chairs (or my super new step ladder) into the kitchen to reach something up high.
Readers of petite stature will probably already know about these marvellous little stools. There are so many different kinds available, different heights and different colours, often designed for children to be able to reach kitchen benches.
I found this simple solid little stool at Mitre Ten, but I can’t find it on their website at the moment – maybe they sold out!
Anyway, it folds flat and slips down the side of the fridge, out of the way but ready to provide a safe step up at a moments notice.
Much better than a wobbly chair and no waiting for A Tall Person to arrive.
