First, purge! You can almost guarantee most recipes are easily found on the internet. Also, old untried One-Day-I’ll-Make-That recipes are probably never going to be made… pop them in the paper recycling.
Next buy an expanding folder, no need for laborious transcribing, just file them under the most simple category, try not to overthink it!
Files come in all shapes and sizes, choose the smallest you can work with and cull then file your favourites.
