Maximize Floor Space.
This is a real challenge for apartment dwellers, but it can create an illusion of spaciousness if the eye can see expanses of flooring surface.
De-Clutter –
Get rid of random mats, if you need a rug choose one that’s plain or subtly patterned.
Reduce the number of small furniture items like side tables, baskets, ottomans and poufs.
Minimise the amount of furniture you have in each room.
Hang as much as possible on the walls, including shelving, TV’s, bathroom cabinets and bedroom cupboards.
Don’t forget to do the same in your garage, you’ll be amazed at how much space you actually have!
Remember to donate those items you de-cluttered!
