Front loader? Beware mould!
Water sits in the bottom of the rubber gasket that seals the water inside the tub when you close the door.
When you finish a wash always leave the door open a couple of inches, it allows any water left in the gasket to evaporate.
If you’re really keen, you could also wipe it out with a dry cloth.
And why not leave the soap dispenser open too, mould loves moisture, even when you can’t see it.
